Upskills Nepal Student Finance Policy
Welcome to UpSkills Nepal, This Student Finance Policy outlines the financial guidelines, responsibilities, and entitlements for all learners.
1. Purpose
The primary goal of this policy is to help students develop clear guidelines regarding their financial obligations. In addition to creating this transparency for the student, it also gives students an opportunity to understand their financial responsibilities regarding course fees before and throughout the registration process.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all the students who are currently enrolled, any individuals who are planning to enroll, anyone who is making payments on behalf of students, or anyone accessing paid services or resources from Upskills Nepal.
3. Course fee policy
Fee structure: Every course has a clearly defined fee listed on the website or communicated during consultation. Fees typically include training materials, classes, and platform access. Additional charges are communicated in advance.
Payment Modes: Modes of payment available at Upskills Nepal are bank deposit, online payment, QR code, or cash at the office (receipt provided).
Note: Bills/invoices are issued only after successful payment.
4. Registration and Enrollment policy
An enrollment is completed only after the minimum payment is made. Students must provide correct personal information, such as phone number and email. Reservations are made on the basis of first come, first served after the confirmation of payment.
5. Installment Policy
Only for specific programs mentioned by Upskills Nepal are installments available. Students must make payments on time. Payment delays can result in temporary suspension or withholding of certificates. Students must agree to installment terms in writing before the course begins.
6. Refund Policy
Full Refund: Full refunds are provided only in case Upskills Nepal cancels or delays a batch by over 30 days.
Partial/No Refund: Refunds won’t be given once class starts, for personal reasons, or for absence. Rare exceptions may be considered, but only if valid evidence is provided.
Refund Method: Refunds will be processed only through bank transactions. Cash refunds are strictly prohibited. The processing time of the refund is 5 to 7 working days.
7. Class transfer/Batch change
Requests to change the batch can be made only before the course starts. After the course begins, transfers are allowed only if there is a valid reason and seats are available.
8. Certificate and completion policy
All students who receive a certificate must complete all required payments, meet the minimum required attendance requirements, and complete all required assignments, tests, and practical assessments.
Note: A certificate may not be issued to a student due to any violation of this policy or failure to accurately report their personal information.
9. Financial Compliance Requirements
Students must provide correct personal and payment information, follow all the fee deadlines, and keep the receipts of payments until the completion of the course.
10. Privacy and Data Security
Upskills Nepal maintains strict confidentiality of all student financial information.
Payment data will not be disclosed to third parties except banking partners and legal authorities as required. All the data is stored securely per applicable standards.
11. Policy Amendments
Upskills Nepal may modify this policy at any point. All the changes will be reported in official channels, such as on the website and in student groups.
